3 Haining Events in Nov & Dec

The Haining have announced three events at the House in November and December.
There will be a traditional Christmas Fair (or ‘Fayre’) on Saturday and Sunday 22nd and 23rd November, from 10:30am to 4:00pm daily. We are promised traditional items such as crafts, gifts, seasonal food and refreshments, plus live music to soothe stressed shoppers. Entrance is by donation at the door. Please note that onsite parking is limited, so the hosts request that you park in Halliwell's car park and walk down their new walkway to the venue. Parking at the house is for disabled drivers only.
On Saturday 29th of November there will be a Ceilidh At The Haining, hosted by accordion maestros Ian and Robin Lowthian, aka ‘Boxman and Robin’. A splendid time is guaranteed for all. Doors open at 7:30pm, with tickets priced £15 (including food) available in advance from the Scott’s Selkirk shop. There will also be a raffle and bar facilities.
Finally, on Thursday 18th and Friday 19th December there will be Carols By Candlelight at The Haining. Please note that numbers will be limited, and entry will be by ticket only. Tickets, priced £15, including a mulled wine and festive nibbles, are available from the Scott's Selkirk shop from November 15th. The evenings' programme will include a choir, readers and music from the Selkirk Silver Band.
