Royal Burgh of Selkirk and District Community Council

Selkirk Hill Management Group

The group was formed in 1996 after a suggestion from the late Stewart Roberts. It seemed more sensible for Hill users and local people to look after the interests of Selkirk Hill rather than leave it to the remote Scottish Borders Council.

The group consists of a member from each of the clubs which use the hill (Selkirk Golf Club and Selkirk Rifle Club), two members from the Community Council, the Hill Warden, any other individual who has an interest in the care and maintenance of the Hill and any of the 3 SBC Councillors.

The group meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 6.00pm in the committee room in the Victoria Halls.

The group works under the umbrella of the SBC and has its own constitution.

Members of the public are always welcome to attend the meetings and to share the interest of the group in the activities and future wellbeing of the Hill.
