Members of the Community Council met with Netta Meadows, Chief Executive of SBC and 2 officials to discuss the arrangements for Gipsy/Travellers at the Victoria Park and the works that SBC had started on a waste site next to Ettrick Mill for a temporary Traveller site without consultation with local residents or the businesses in the vicinity.

The attached notes from SBC and the response of the CC are attached here. We are hoping to arrange a public meeting with SBC and the elected councillors after the local government elections. We will publish more information about that nearer the time.
