Hillside Terrace Speed Sign Operational

Residents of Hillside Terrace have long been concerned about cars speeding north on the A7 and continuing at speeds above 20 mph, after the 20mph limit applies.
Their question about when mitigating procedures, including the use of an interactive speed sign, would apply, has now been answered with the sign, in place for some months beside Russell Terrace, now in operation. Early results suggest that it does have an effect on the speed of northbound traffic.
