September Charity Ride Ettrickbridge. Starts Station Rd.

Organised by the Selkirk Royal & Ancient Ex-Standard Bearers' Association.

After the success of the Charity Ride in 2023 for The Harris Trust and the Doddie Weir Foundation.
This years Royal Burgh Ex Standard Bearers Charity ride will take place on Saturday the 7th of September 2024.
Raising money for the The Katie McKerracher Trust
This year’s ride will start from Station Road, Selkirk at 10am.
Majestically going over the hills on the Bowhill Duchess drive, to Ettrickbridge on a good day the views are spectacular.

Stopping at Ettrickbridge for an hour, before heading down the side of the Helenburn and back to Selkirk to drop off the Rugby Ball for the start of the new Rugby season at Philiphaugh RFC for 3pm.

Approx 15 miles.

Minimum sponsorship of £25 as previous years, with a Day Out for Two to Kelso Races largest sponsorship raised courtesy of Cotherd Racing .

Any rider under the age of 16 must have their application form signed by an appropriate adult.
Please note that this will not be a ride for novices, also no leading reins.
Selkirk Royal and Ancient Burgh Ex-Standard Bearers Association reserve the right to refuse any person from participating in the above event.
