Cycling Souters Grand Depart for Rome, Market Place

The Cycling Souters will be launching the Grand Depart of their trip to Rome, on Sunday 3rd March at 8am in the Market Place. The group – supported by a back-up crew in camper vans – will then travel through Europe, finally arriving in the Piazza Navona, Rome, on Friday, March 8.The Cycling Souters hope to cover all the costs of the trip before setting off. This would mean that 100 per cent of the funds raised will go to the charity.

The Cycling Souters are: Iwan Tukalo; Tommy Knox; Allen Jamieson; Kevin Fairbairn; Kenny Pearce; Gordon Hunter; Davie Anderson; Scott Hall; Mark Moncrieff; John Davidson; Michael Bell.
The drivers are Nancy Hunter, Susan Tukalo, Lawrence McPherson.
All cyclists are invited to join them to show support. There are an optional 2 routes available:
1. A 25-mile loop to Denhom and back.
2. A 55-mile loop to Carter Bar and back.
