Community Orchard Green Fair, The Green

Community Orchard Planting Selkirk presents the launch of their 2nd mini-orchard in The Green, from 1:30 to 4pm.
Community Orchard Planting Selkirk (COPS) is an offshoot of Brighter Selkirk. They won a silver and overall award for Biodiversity at Greener Gateway 2023. Their aim is to plant mini fruit orchards and fruit bushes on mowed grass public spaces to promote biodiversity, community engagement and free food.
This fair will be off grid, with local producers and local music and hosted by volunteers. Members of the public are most welcome and information about our next orchard plans will be available for any who would like to find out more.
Various stalls, including Beeswax produce, honey, wooden spoon making demonstration.
