Special SBC Meeting to discuss Live Borders report
20 November 2025
The SBC and Live Borders Joint Transformational Change Programme Team's report on Live Borders facities and services will be debated at a a special meeting of Scottish Borders Council on Thursday 20 November, where the report will be discussed as a stand alone item.
The full report, originally scheduled for the October Council meeting, was postponed, although a report will be brought to the October 29 Scottish Borders Council meeting, setting out the work undertaken to date and providing an update on the SBC and Live Borders Joint Transformational Change Programme. This report to be published on the SBC website on Thursday 23 October.
The special meeting of the Council on Thursday 20 November will discuss the report as a stand alone item. The report and its appendices will be published on the SBC website on Thursday 13 November. This web page will also include a link to watch the 20th November Council meeting online, or review the recording afterwards.
The Project Team says: “The ongoing work to analyse all the feedback captured through the extensive consultation and engagement exercise and assess the many options is proceeding at pace, and it was agreed that taking the report to Council in October would leave little opportunity for thorough member engagement on proposals ahead of that meeting.”
