SBC Meeting receives update Live Borders report

29 October 2025

A report will be brought to the October 29 Scottish Borders Council meeting, setting out the work undertaken to date and providing an update on the SBC and Live Borders Joint Transformational Change Programme. This report will be published on the SBC website on Thursday 23 October.

The full report to SBC Council on facilities and services, originally scheduled for the October Council meeting, has been postponed. Instead, a special meeting of the Council will be held on Thursday 20 November, where the report will be discussed as a stand alone item. The report and its appendices will be published on the SBC website on Thursday 13 November. This web page will also include a link to watch the 20th November Council meeting online, or review the recording afterwards.

The Project Team says: “The ongoing work to analyse all the feedback captured through the extensive consultation and engagement exercise and assess the many options is proceeding at pace, and it was agreed that taking the report to Council in October would leave little opportunity for thorough member engagement on proposals ahead of that meeting.”
