Hello, and a very warm welcome to this, the website for the Community Council of the Royal and Ancient Burgh of Selkirk and District. I am delighted to have been elected as the Chair of this Community Council and am keen to extend the valuable links it provides between the residents of the area and their locally elected Scottish Borders Councillors. It is important our heritage and historic traditions, of which we are all very proud, are maintained while at the same time recognizing the need to look to the future of Selkirk and the surrounding District.
