Tibbie's Restaurant Opens 07 Dec in Market Place

Allan Walker of Selkirk Distillers has announced the opening of a new restaurant in the former premises of the Courthouse Cafe in the Market Place. Called Tibbie's, with a slogan of 'A Place To Share', it opens on Thursday 7th December, and will feature cheese boards, 'superb quality' charcuterie, olives, nuts, crackers, cakes, tea, coffee and what Allan calls 'the best gin/whisky/wine bar in the Scottish Borders' (well, he would, wouldn't he).
Ingredients will be sourced from local suppliers and the plan is for a family-friendly restaurant filled with good food, music, story telling, history, tastings and special events. Updates will be posted on the Tibbie's Facebook page.
