Standard Bearer's Presentation Royal Burgh Standard Bearer Douglas Gunn receives a hip flask from Vice Chairman Lindsay Neil. This gift from the Community Council was presented at a reception in the Town Hall.	Recently appointed Honorary Provost of the Common Riding Trust, Les Miller, with Standard Bearer Gunn.
The reception was attended by Standard Bearers and office holders from the other casting associations and their partners. Also in attendance were this years attendants and their partners, members of the Community and Scottish Borders Councils and members of the Common Riding Trust.

At a reception in the old Town Hall (Walter Scott's Court House) on 6th of May CC Vice-chairman Lindsay Neil presented a hip flask to Royal Burgh Standard Bearer for 2010, Douglas Gunn and congratulated him on his appointment.
